First person

  • description Description

It's finally here! First person view for (almost) every situation in the game.

Enjoy the landscape of Medici while wingsuiting without having to look at Rico's feet, try to transport a car with a cargoplane without having any idea what is going on in the back, or do a nerve racking race in a F1 car, it's all possible!

This mod can not be toggled on and off in the game, so when you install it, you will play the entire session in first person. There are however multiple versions of the mod, so you can choose - for example - to drive in 3rd person.

Almost all vehicles have first person view from the driver spot. The exceptions are tanks/Mstitel heli (no translucent glass so it has a front cam) and the ducky (has duck view :)).

    Enjoy!

Please report any casualties back to us (in the reactions is fine). This mod is quite complicated so a lot of problems can occur. You can help us fixing those by letting us know about it.

  • speaker_notes Installation

There are 5 versions of the mod you can install. On foot cams are all cams outside a vehicle, so including things like wingsuiting, parachuting and grappling as well. You can also choose to include the tanks and Corvette or not. Since the first person camera is in a fixed position, it is only possible to shoot straight forward with those vehicles.

    Installing:

    - Open the desired folder and drag the "dropzone" folder inside it to your Just Cause 3 directory. Overwrite files if asked for.

    - Go to your steam library -> Right click on jc3 -> Properties -> Launch options. Paste here the line below, including the dot.

    --vfs-fs dropzone --vfs-archive patch_win64 --vfs-archive archives_win64 --vfs-fs .
