I think they’ve just overridden the game.arc/game.tab files in the patch, so missing files wouldn’t mean that you need a complete re-unpack, I’m not entirely sure, though.
I want exactly the same thing, but it will be pretty hard to do, because the file structure of Sky Fortress is extremely complicated. We’ll probably have to wait until Neam does some magic again.
Ooooh, sounds awesome!! It’ll still be a while before it’s released, though…April 17, 2016 at 10:46 am in reply to: Change Color of the Sky Fortress Skin (wingsuit, rocket and weapon) @neam #166042
I wanted to change that too, actually. You’ll need to edit some .effc files and do some complicated stuff, which we aren’t able to do right now, unfortunately. I recommend getting the black/blue version, as it looks better than the original, while still fitting in with the effects.
On second thought, I don’t think I’m going to make icons. I tried it, but it looked horrible :(. If you would feel like doing it, check out this link: Full rebel drop after patch new icons ,
Otherwise, I guess I’ll just wait until I can change the names.
Great work! I guess this means I can start working on new icons for my rebel drop mod!
Try this out: Realistic Just Cause 3, it’s probably as close as you can get to a 5 star mod.
But if you replace it with the rebel version, then it won’t attack you….
If you would do the same thing with the .ee files of the sky fortress expansion (Forum Link of Neam’s modding tutorial) I would be forever grateful. Also I would try to make Rico able to rebel drop other drones and sky fortress stuff ^^.
use this: Just Cause 3 unpacker, and then go to editor/entities/jc_vehicles in your unpacked game files. A little warning, though: the names of the vehicles are not the same as the names visible in-game, so you’ll need to figure out which is which yourself (I might make an excel sheet for that soon).April 5, 2016 at 2:54 pm in reply to: Did someone know why most Mods arent working after the Skyfortress Patch ? #165708
There have been some major changes in file structure, for example the item.onlinec uses a completely different structure (this is the reason why all rebel drop mods from before the patch don’t work anymore), also there are some files in the unknown folder, which have confusing names and some are not editable yet. The results of this are that modding has become a bit more difficult, but definitely not impossible. All it takes is patience!April 2, 2016 at 7:44 pm in reply to: Please post here mods that don't work after the March 7th update #165630
I have found the file that has the rebel drop timer of the drone, I have changed it to 0, but it didn’t work. I haven’t found anything that changes the health. Sorry, I guess avalanche just made it too complicated.
