PSA: FoV (Field of View) Mod

Trix, one of the programmers behind the Just Cause 2 Multiplayer mod, has released the long awaited unofficial FoV patch for Just Cause 3.
To download, scroll to the bottom of the GitHub page and click on the link found under the “Download” section, then click “JustFOV.exe” to download the latest release.

I just tried it, and even if it work very nicely, saddly it look to create somes bad performances issues 🙁

Increasing fov always decreases performance, because then there’s more stuff on the screen.

When I use the fov patcher the sniper aim also looks a bit odd :/Intel Core i7 4790K | Z97 PC Mate(MS-7850) | 2x 8192mb Crucial RAM

I think he’s released it this early in its development because of how strong the demand for an FoV mod has been over the past month. Performance impact is to be expected, as FINDarkside noted, though perhaps we could see a fix for things like the sniper scope issue in the future.December 27, 2015 at 3:33 pm #163217wootsParticipant
